Congratulations to World Class Mom, Nancy Jacob

Congratulations to our World Class Mom, Nancy Jacob!!

“Hi Richard, I am writing this as I sit in our car at Roper St. Francis hospital in downtown Charleston. I just left my wife Nancy as they took her to surgery to have a radical hysterectomy due to being diagnosed with Uterine cancer a month ago. They won’t let family stay in the hospital during the surgery.. My wife Nancy is the person who selflessly puts others in front of her in all aspects of her life. Whether it has been taking care of me for the last 28 years, raising two incredible sons or being a friend to all – Nancy is the embodiment of world-class. She always sends birthday cards and letters to every person we know and ensures that each person knows how important they are to her. When our boys left the nest, it was Nancy who wanted to work with foster kids. Because of her love and generosity, I have had the opportunity to love and care for 3 additional children. What I love most about my wife is she gives to others unconditionally. Charity is anonymous, a loan is a gift with no strings attached and the other person’s need are the priority. Little things that she does mean so much – like bringing flowers to our 96-year landlord every month with the rent check. I could go on and on. know the universe has more need of people like my Nancy. That is why she will beat this illness and continue to spread joy and happiness to the world.” -Husband, Craig Jacob
