Job Summary:
This position will be the liaison between programming and sales and responsible for all on air,
online, and onsite promotions that successfully generate revenue, ratings, and local buzz for
the greater Charleston, South Carolina area.
Responsibilities:
-Manage promotional requests with the Programming and Sales departments.
-Responsible for all promotional activities on air, online, and onsite
-Maintains station event calendar, write copy for promotional spots when needed,
serves as primary coordinator for third party tie-ins and supervises promotions/event
staff
-Responsible for interviewing and hiring event team
-Assist the sales team with preparing sales presentations and PowerPoints
-Execute remotes and manages station promotional events, materials, and staff
-Represents the station brands and company in public settings
-Assist with Social Media strategy
-Provide technical assistance for on-site remotes/appearances
-Attend weekly sales/promotions and programming meetings
-Meet day to day deadlines
-Manage station merchandise
-Maintain station vehicles, cameras, and all supplies within the department
-Ensures contest rules comply with FCC regulations
-Ensures the provision of prizes, promotional materials, and event collateral
-Assist sales team with onsite client activation as needed in conjunction with promotions
-Other duties as assigned by General Manager
Job Qualifications:
-Two years plus experience preferred in a successful marketing role (radio experience,
event marketing or sports marketing a plus)
-Extremely organized and detail oriented
-Must be proficient in GSuite, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
-WavStar and Marketron experience a plus but not required
-Promosuite, WordPress and Photoshop experience is a plus
-Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
-Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays when needed
-Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from the office

Part-Time Promo Tech/Brand Ambassador

Job Summary:
Responsible for set-up and break down of live remote broadcasts, interacting with listeners, and assisting with the needs of clients and account executives
Supervisor(s): Operations Manager / Promotion Manager
Job Qualification:
This is an entry-level position for a candidate with excellent communication skills and the ability to deliver quality customer service on a consistent basis to both station advertisers and listeners. We are looking for a dependable problem solver that can either work independently or with a group. Promo Tech positions require a valid driver’s license, valid vehicle insurance coverage, a good driving record, and the ability to lift and transport 20 – 50 pounds of equipment.
Position Type: Part-Time (up to 30 hours per week)
This position does require flexible hours and includes weekends and some late nights and holidays.

Responsibilities:
