Bryan Schock’s 5 Faves of 2023

Looking back on the best of 2023 with morning host Bryan Schock:

5)      Leisure “Back In Love” from Leisurevision: From New Zealand. I was sitting in my office late on a Friday night when the email came through. I listened…and I was hooked. I LOVE this sound and this band!!

4)      Debut of “EZ Like Sunday Morning” on 105.5 The Bridge, June 4, 2023: This is a show that I have had rolling in my head for years. It’s been an absolute blast to bring it to life and get the feedback that I do. If you haven’t listened yet, please do!! Sunday at 8am. 🙂

3)      Thundercat & Tame Impala “No More Lies”: I’m a HUGE Tame Impala fan. Kevin Parker can do very little wrong as far as I’m concerned. Pairing up with Thundercat was a great call!!

2)      Teddi Swims I’ve Tried Everything But Therapy (Pt 1) : “Lose Control” & ”Some Things I’ll Never Know”. Great album all the way through. Teddy is from Georgia…he’s got an amazing voice full of soul.

1)      U2 at The Sphere in Las Vegas: 2 hours and 11 minutes of a concert experience so different that it MUST be experienced personally to fully appreciate. 366 feet tall and 516 feet wide featuring the highest definition LED resolution on earth at 16,000 x 16,000. It also features 167,000 speakers giving it near perfect and very clean sound no matter where you sit in this 20,000 capacity structure. The show itself was phenomenal. U2 playing Achtung Baby as well as a selection of great old hits. This was like no other “concert” that I have ever seen. A “bucket list” type of event. The attached video will not do this event justice. As I said, you must see this in person to fully appreciate it.
