The Local Palate, in partnership with Breakthru Beverage, will welcome the world’s top whiskey ambassadors to Charleston for the sixth annual Whiskey After Dark on Wednesday, October 16, 2019. Sample more than one hundred whiskeys, including bourbon and scotch, as well as craft beer at the Cedar Room in downtown Charleston.

The event will host some of the South’s best pitmasters—because what pairs better with firewater than a little smoke? Feast on an array of barbecue styles including whole hog, ribs, smoked turkey, and more from James Beard award-winning Rodney Scott’s BBQ, Sam Jones BBQ, Southern Soul Barbeque, and Martin’s Bar-B-Que Joint.

Doors open for general admission at 7:30 pm for an all-inclusive oak and smoke celebration with live music. VIP ticket holders are invited to arrive at 6:30 pm for early access and whiskey cocktails.

A portion of proceeds will benefit Charleston Animal Society.
